Terms of Service

Last updated: April 10, 2026

These Terms of Service govern your use of the Cleanse website and any signup, recurring subscription, checkout, or support interaction offered through the site. By using the website, submitting a signup request, or purchasing a subscription, you agree to these terms.

These terms are written around the current Cleanse laundry-subscription model shown on the site, including monthly recurring plans, add-ons, ZIP-based route scheduling, Stripe-hosted checkout, and service-related communications. If you do not agree, do not use the site or purchase a subscription.

1. Acceptance and Eligibility

You represent that you are legally able to enter into a binding agreement and that the information you submit to us is accurate, current, and complete. If you are signing up on behalf of a household or another person, you represent that you have authority to do so.

We may refuse service, reject a signup, or suspend an account if information is inaccurate, a payment fails, the account is used improperly, the service location falls outside our operating area, or we determine that providing service would create an unreasonable operational, legal, or safety risk.

2. Service Overview and Route Availability

Cleanse provides recurring residential laundry pickup, cleaning, folding, and return service according to the plan, route, and add-on options then offered on the site. Current public plan details include monthly pricing, a three-bag pickup allowance per cycle, ZIP-based route scheduling, and a target 48-hour turnaround on standard service.

Service remains subject to route density, service-area eligibility, staffing, weather, access conditions, holidays, force majeure events, and operational constraints. A displayed plan or completed signup does not guarantee service at a specific address or on a specific route until Cleanse accepts the account and confirms that service can reasonably be provided.

If we determine after signup or payment that a location is outside our service area or cannot be serviced safely or practically, we may decline the account, reschedule onboarding, modify timing, or cancel the subscription and refund any unearned prepaid amount as our sole obligation unless otherwise required by law.

3. Subscriptions, Billing, and Pricing

Subscription plans are billed on a recurring basis through the payment method you authorize at checkout. By starting a subscription, you authorize recurring charges for the selected plan and any applicable agreed add-ons or related charges until the subscription is canceled in accordance with these terms.

Unless we state otherwise in writing, published plan prices are monthly base prices in U.S. dollars. Additional charges may apply for agreed add-ons, overflow bags, missed-pickup reschedules, taxes, or other fees clearly disclosed to you before they are charged.

  • Single Plan: currently listed at $120 per month.
  • Large Family Plan: currently listed at $340 per month.
  • Bedding Add-On Plan: currently listed at $40 per month.
  • Chemical-Free / Organic Wash: currently listed at $10 to $15 per month depending on plan.
  • Hang Dry Bag: currently listed at $10 per week per dedicated bag.

4. Renewals, Cancellations, and Plan Changes

Subscriptions automatically renew until canceled. To cancel a recurring subscription, request cancellation through our contact channels, including email, phone, or the website contact form. To help avoid another billing cycle or route cycle, cancellation and material plan-change requests should be submitted before the next billing date and before any stated route cutoff.

Unless required by law or expressly approved by Cleanse in writing, subscription charges are billed in advance, are not prorated, and are non-refundable once a paid billing period has begun. If you cancel, the cancellation will ordinarily apply to future renewals and not retroactively to already-billed periods.

You may request plan, bag, or add-on changes. Current public service rules state that bag changes should be made at least 24 hours before pickup. Requested changes are not effective until accepted by Cleanse, and some changes may apply only to a future route or billing cycle.

We may change pricing, plans, add-ons, route rules, or service policies from time to time. If we make a material change affecting active subscriptions, we will aim to give reasonable notice before the change takes effect on a future cycle, unless a faster change is required for legal, operational, or safety reasons.

5. Pickup Rules, Bag Limits, Overflow, and Add-Ons

Current public plan descriptions state that each pickup includes up to three bags and that each bag should remain within one standard load of roughly 10 to 15 pounds. Overflow bags outside the included allotment may be charged separately.

Current public policies also state that extra bags may be billed as overflow at approximately $10 to $15 each depending on route handling, and that a missed pickup may still count for the week or may be rescheduled for a stated service fee when route availability permits.

Add-ons, promotions, and introductory offers are subject to the specific terms posted on the site or otherwise provided by Cleanse. We may modify or discontinue promotions at any time, and we may limit promotions to first-time households, specific plans, or specific service periods.

6. Customer Responsibilities

You are responsible for providing accurate contact and service-location information, making laundry available at the agreed pickup location, and ensuring that the service location is reasonably accessible and safe for pickup and return.

You are also responsible for checking garments and pockets before pickup, removing valuables and prohibited items, and identifying any items that need special handling. Although Cleanse advertises a Pocket Protection Promise, pocket checks are a courtesy and not a guarantee that all personal property, sharp objects, ink items, or hazardous materials will be discovered before processing.

  • Do not place cash, jewelry, important documents, or sentimental items in laundry bags.
  • Do not include hazardous, illegal, biohazardous, flammable, infested, or unsafe items.
  • Do not include items that require dry cleaning, leather care, specialty restoration, or other treatment not expressly accepted by Cleanse.
  • Disclose delicate, shrink-prone, bleed-prone, embellished, or special-care items before service if you want us to review whether they should be accepted.

7. Garment Care, Special-Care Items, and Claims

We use reasonable care in handling accepted laundry, but we are not responsible for ordinary wear and tear, hidden defects, weak seams, pre-existing damage, manufacturer defects, colorfastness failures, shrinkage, loss caused by inaccurate care labels, or damage resulting from your failure to disclose that an item required special handling beyond the service selected.

If you believe an item was damaged, lost, or mishandled by Cleanse, notify us promptly and, whenever reasonably possible, within seven days after delivery. We may require photos, order details, and a reasonable opportunity to inspect the item before resolving a claim.

If we determine that Cleanse is responsible for a valid claim, our remedies may include re-cleaning, repair reimbursement where appropriate, service credit, or payment of the item's fair replacement value after accounting for age, condition, and depreciation. We do not pay sentimental, speculative, or replacement-at-full-retail values automatically, and we are not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses tied to a garment claim.

8. Promotions and Introductory Offers

Promotional offers, including first-pickup-free or add-on discounts, are optional marketing offers and may be limited, changed, suspended, or withdrawn at any time unless already accepted and confirmed for a specific account.

Unless we expressly state otherwise, promotions cannot be combined, exchanged for cash, transferred, or applied retroactively.

9. Website Use and Intellectual Property

The website, its design, copy, graphics, logos, code, and related content are owned by Cleanse or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property law. You may use the site only for lawful personal or internal business purposes related to evaluating or using the service.

You may not copy, scrape, reproduce, reverse engineer, interfere with, frame, republish, or exploit the website or its content without prior written permission except to the extent non-waivable law permits it.

10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the website and service are provided on an as-available and as-is basis, without warranties of uninterrupted availability, exact route timing, uninterrupted website operation, or fitness for a purpose beyond the specific service expressly agreed.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cleanse and its owners, employees, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential damages, including lost profits, lost business, lost data, reputational harm, or loss of use.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cleanse's aggregate liability arising out of or related to the website, subscription, or service will not exceed the total amount you paid to Cleanse for the affected service during the three months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

11. Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Cleanse and its affiliates, personnel, and service providers from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, and expenses arising from your misuse of the website, your breach of these terms, your inaccurate or unlawful submissions, or the contents of bags or items you provide in violation of these terms or applicable law.

12. Force Majeure and Service Suspension

Cleanse is not responsible for delay, interruption, or failure caused by events outside our reasonable control, including weather, natural disasters, route access issues, labor disruptions, internet or payment outages, public-health events, supply disruptions, vehicle failure, governmental action, or other force majeure events.

We may suspend, delay, modify, or limit service when reasonably necessary to protect personnel, customers, equipment, garments, routes, or the business.

13. Governing Law and Forum

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Unless applicable law requires otherwise, any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms, the website, or the service must be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Utah, and you consent to that forum and jurisdiction.

14. Changes to These Terms and Contact Information

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time by posting a revised version on this page and updating the last-updated date. The revised terms become effective when posted unless a later date is stated.
